Djoutala comes from Ziguinchor - capital city of the Casamance region.
He began dancing in his early childhood.
He was a member of the African ballets ‘Woulaba’ from Ziguinchor and ‘Melody’ from Dakar. For the last 11 years he has been the choreographer and artistic director of ‘Doman Doman’, an 18-person dance and drum ensemble.
Djoutala has been living in Austria since 2001, and working,
among others, for:

With great intuition and didactic skill Djoutala introduces workshop participants to a very appealling mix of contemporary and traditional African dance.
